Jody A. Levine, MD

NYC dermatologist Dr. Jody A. Levine is a leading skin doctor at Dermatology, Laser and Surgery of Flatiron. Dr. Levine is a board certified cosmetic and surgical dermatologist, as well as a board certified pediatrician. Dr. Levine graduated from Columbia College, earning a 4.0 GPA, as well as Magna Cum Laude honors and the distinction of Phi Beta Kappa. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from the Yale School of Medicine, followed by her Pediatric Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Levine then earned her Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

Connie Yang, MD

Connie Yang, MD is a dermatologist in New York City who is known for her passion for helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful skin. Dr. Yang earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, where she honed in on her passion for the sciences. Later, she attended Boston University School of Medicine for her doctorate degree. She spent a dedicated research year at Massachusetts General Hospital, Department of Dermatology where she worked in the clinic for pigmentary disorders and served as the administrative director for Project Phoenix, MGH’s pro-bono tattoo removal clinic. Dr. Yang completed her dermatology training at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was the Chief Resident of Cosmetics in her final year.

Garland Lee is a talented, board certified physician assistant at Dermatology, Laser and Surgery of Flatiron specializing in general, cosmetic, and medical dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, followed by her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College in New York City, in addition to being named a Fulbright Scholar. She has years of experience as a physician assistant, working aside some of the Tri-State area’s top dermatologists and providing high quality care to patients seeking medical, cosmetic, general, and pediatric dermatology services.
She has experience evaluating and managing a variety of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, skin cancer, moles, scarring, and rosacea, to name a few. Additionally, she is a proud member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Erin Melley, PA
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Erin Melley, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology in NYC. Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the state of New York, Erin has extensive dermatology and surgical experience, allowing her to efficiently help her patients achieve and maintain glowing skin.
Erin is originally from the Chicago area, where she practiced dermatology for over 20 years before recently returning to her roots in New York with her family. Erin dedicates herself to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dermatology by reading medical journals and attending courses and conferences routinely. She is committed to providing compassionate, tailored care while fostering a connection with and helping to educate her patients.
Tahira Macedo, PA
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Tahira Macedo, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant who specializes in adult and pediatric dermatology in New York City. Tahira was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and attended the University of Florida, where she completed both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Health Education and Behavior. She continued her education at Florida International University, where she earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies and certification to practice as a Physician Assistant. While in PA school, Tahira received the Capstone Merit Award for her graduating thesis studies and was awarded a scholarship from the Miami Veteran's Affairs Hospital during her rotations in internal medicine and general surgery. She also completed an advanced clinical rotation in pediatric dermatology at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, where she started her career upon completing her education.
During her time working as a pediatric dermatologist at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, Tahira became well-versed in all common adult and pediatric dermatologic conditions and refined her talents while performing numerous exams and procedures, including routine skin cancer screenings, biopsies, and laser therapies. Additionally, she specialized in the treatment and management of congenital vascular birthmarks, such as infantile hemangiomas and port wine stains. After completing two years in pediatric dermatology, Tahira joined a major pediatric association in Florida, where she completed a fellowship in general pediatric medicine. She practiced as a pediatric PA for two years before relocating to New York City.
Janelle (Gia) Santarsiero, PA

Janelle (Gia) Santarsiero is a board certified physician assistant practicing dermatology in New York City. After years of practicing in family medicine, Gia transitioned her expertise to specialize in dermatology, where she now focuses on diagnosing and treating a variety of skin conditions.
